More computer stuff

lyornComputer is still wonky. No WLAN. Gwydion and I were trying to fix it the night to Friday, not sure if it took. Downloads from Dell are not useful -- the driver that I think I need refuses to install. (That after raising an unholy fuss about needing .NET framework and god knows what else.) IE8 seems to have a memory leak.
I don't dare to get updates from the work machine to the backup machine at the moment, so I back up on an USB stick for now.
Friday evening I came home and fell into bed. Slept 14 hours straight. There were thunderstorms in the night, and while humidity is still beyond the pale, it's a tiny bit less unpleasant to deal with in at 23°C than at 30°C.
