Cat games

Serious Cat Jerome has a new game. It's called, "I bring you the toy mouse and you throw it away". The toy mouse is tiny, dark grey, furry, and has a bell in it. I would like the game better if we could play it some other time than after I have just gone to bed and switched off the light.

We need to re-negotiate that.

Hehe, good luck for the negotiations. I don't really see a chance of winning for you, but it's surely gonna be interesting nevertheless :-)

Our big cat does this sometimes during the day, but he's the intelligent one.
'Small' cat always does this, when we've just gone to bed and stopped making noise in there (no, I mean talking). We keep our bedroom door closed to the cats, opposed to you.
And 'small' cat always yells a minimum of 15 minutes as maybe we didn't hear the plastic mouse hit the hardwood floor in front of the door loudly. After that it's around 5 minutes whining in the sitting room that we didn't hear him, which we can also hear quite clearly but less loud.
So I see small chances at negotiating *g*

I got Jerry to bring the the mouse even when I'm *not* trying to sleep. Then I throw it, he brings it back, and gets a cuddle. We are both quite happy with that.

I still find the mouse in my bed when I wake up. Alarm clock rings, I fumble blindly for the clock, mouse jingles, mouse gets kicked out of bed, happy cat pounces.

I hope he *never* catches a real mouse. (Yikes!)

In other news, Jerry fell into the bathtub yesterday. Again. Tully watched with his "you are *so* weird" face.
