After three days, about twenty phone calls, a lot of yelling profanities at the automated "please hold the line -- thank you for your patience" voice, and serious coffee-and-cookies-abuse I seem to have both land line and internet now.

Still not convinced that it will stay that way. But if you know my land line number, you can now at least attempt to give me a call.
