The most annoying thing..
Aug. 23rd, 2018 01:53 pmThe most annoying thing about my bad eyes, I feel, is that they are making me stupid.
It seems as if the whole processor capacity goes to image reconstruction, and nothing is left for other operations.
While my new glasses are just fine when driving my scooter, taking a walk, shopping, housework, hanging out with people, they are kind-of-OK when I'm sitting on the computer. Kind of, as, I can read anything just fine. I just cannot think. Or remember. Or commit to memory.
Called the office doc, and he suggested I use my reading glasses. I can read just fine without any glasses. At -9 dioptres, it's just a matter of having a short nose so I can get close enough to the text. I cannot have two sets of glasses on my short nose, and wearing *just* reading glasses, eh, WTF?
And? Feeling stupid makes me afraid, and, well, then the whole "leads to the Dark Side of the Force" sequence. And they don't even have cookies.
