Long Weekend. Too much sun.

lyorn1st of May was a holiday, or more exactly, two holidays which had the bad taste of falling on the same date. I managed to get 2nd of May off and went to visit Tiassa in Trier.
We spend all evenings playing "Deadlands" -- Tiassa GMed two evenings, and I the other two. I played my scientist gone feral, and scared the living daylights out of my players with an adaption of the Torchwood ep "Countrycide". Way more intense then my usual style. Good to know I can still do it.
Sunday I went with Tiassa and the rest of the Spare Time Images crew to the abandoned French military training area to develop and practise fight sequences. I took about 200 pictures in the hope that a few might appeal to a maybe-sponsor, and got the worst case of reaction to the sun that I had in years. The whole back of my right hand was blistered and itching as if I had wrapped it in stinging nettles. Still, all in all, it was fun.
And that was all we had time for.
Tiassa got a ten-day holiday from her boss for being half-dead with hay fever, so she's coming to visit soon.

Good luck with your exams, btw. I found your math talk interesting, but didn't have much to comment. I understand just enough of it to know what you are talking about, but not how to do it...
